About us
Created in 2016, Brittney Bordwell (Murphy) pursued her passion for baking and started Southernly Sweet after getting her associate’s degree in Baking & Pastry at the Culinary Institute of Charleston. What started as a home based bakery, quickly grew and she started her dessert truck in 2021. While she no longer does the truck, she has started a new venture and now has her own space inside of Mixson Kitchen in the Park Circle area. She continues to use her passion and love of desserts and creativity to share with the lowcountry. Brittney loves to be a part of bringing people together, through her desserts. She strives to find the highest quality ingredients and offer her products to the public at an affordable price.
